Longhorn Summer Weights. Just a reminder that due to the 4th of July we will only have high school weights on Monday and Tuesday and junior high weights on Monday this week. We will return to our regular schedule on July 8th. HAPPY 4TH Have fun and stay safe!!!
Don't forget that we are still serving breakfast and lunch at Mary Lynch during the entire month of July. Monday we will have french toast for breakfast and Meatball Subs for lunch. Meals are free to all children 18 and under. Menus are available at www.kpslonghorns.org
On Wednesday, the ELITE kids went to the library for the Summer Reading Program. The activity was "Breakout Boxes. " The kids worked in teams to solve clues and get the combinations for various locks until they opened the final box of prizes. 🔎🔦🔒🤔

Today at ELITE Summer Program the kids decorated their fly swatter paintings, and a few of our friends walked to Kimball Health Services to add some painted rocks to Stoney the Snake!
There will be no JH Boys Basketball Skills Time on Tuesday June 25. This is due to both gyms being utilized for camps. Our last session will be at the regularly scheduled time on Thursday June 27.
The Longhorn hoop squad competed their tails off in Pueblo against some solid competition! Came away with more W's than L's and learned valuable lessons along the way. Awesome team effort! #LonghornPride
Many memories made these last few days - playing 11 games in a 28 hour period, including a come from behind win to wrap up the UNO women's basketball team camp. This group of ladies showed some grit and toughness that will carry over to season 🔥🏀

Today at ELITE Summer Program, we made fly swatter paintings. 😁
Yesterday at ELITE the kids made paper clay. We soaked shredded paper for 2 days, then squeezed the water out, added flour and salt, and then created sculptures. When the sculptures are dry, the kids will paint them! *very messy project, but definitely fun!
