Do you have concerns about your child's development or suspect they may have a disability affecting their language, cognitive, social, motor, or adaptive living skills?
At Kimball Public Schools, we are committed to identifying and providing appropriate services to all children, including those with special needs. We offer free public education to children and youth with disabilities from birth to age 21, including those with developmental delays, hearing impairments or deafness, vision impairments or blindness, emotional disturbance, health impairments, specific learning disabilities, speech and language impairments, intellectual disability, orthopedic impairments, autism, multiple impairments or traumatic brain injuries. Children and youth with any disability that substantially limits a major life activity may also be eligible for accommodations under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. We appreciate your help in identifying children and youth who may benefit from our special education or 504 accommodations. If you know of a child or youth who is a resident of our district and may have a disability, please contact us.
