📣 Important Announcement for Jr/Sr High School Students and Parents – Remote Day on November 26th! 📣
On Tuesday, November 26th, the Jr/Sr High School will transition to a remote learning day due to hosting the WTC Conference One-Act competition.
Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Students will stay home and complete a remote assignment in each class.
✅ Teachers will provide an assignment for each class that will be due by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26th.
✅ Submitting the assignment will count as attendance for that class.
❌ If the assignment is not submitted, the student will be marked absent.
✅ The assignment will require minimal effort and will be for attendance purposes only.
The elementary school will have a regular in-person school day as usual.
Please ensure your student completes and submits their assignments on time to avoid any attendance issues. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we welcome students and families from other districts for this exciting event!
Students who are participating in school activities that day will not be required to complete the assignments as their attendance will be documented as School Business.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the school office.

Lego Club at ELITE Afterschool Program today!

Thank you to all the Grandparents that came today for Grandparents breakfast. There were nearly 140 Grandparents that braved the chilly day for a warm cup of coffee and doughnut, prepared by our amazing kitchen staff at KPS. Thank you to the Kimball HELPS parents, high school student Nolan and all the KPS Elementary staff that worked hard to make this event successful again this year.

Don't forget Grandparents Breakfast at the Elementary School tomorrow, Tuesday November 19th, from 7-8am. Come enjoy a doughnut, coffee and some special time at Mary Lynch Elementary. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning.

21 members of our high school choir participated in the WTC honor choir today. We had a very successful year for auditions and Kimball ended up representing 25% of the choir members in attendance! Great job!

Today, a few JAG Students had the opportunity to travel to North Platte to receive a tour of both the North and South Campuses of Mid Plains Community College. We learned a lot about the various programs they offer as well as a lot of information about higher education in general. A message that was repeated by all instructors (especially of the trades) was to take as many dual credit classes as you can in high school and to realize that the stuff you are learning in the classroom today will be a part of your future success.

📣 Another successful week for the Kimball Longhorn Branch! 💰🐂 Our student savers are showing incredible dedication to building smart money habits. 🏦✨

Here are the 2024-25 WTC All Conference Selections for VB and FB. Congratulations to our Longhorns and all the WTC athletes honored.#LonghornPride

One of our favorite activities each year is the 10th Caller Game! When the announcement goes out, the classroom that calls in 10th wins a special treat—donuts! Today, we held the game during WIN Time while ranches were busy finalizing their tree decorating plans, and Callow Cattle took the win! Thank you to Mr. Shoup for coming and discussing your service with us! We appreciate you! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
