
Today at ELITE Ashley Fenning with the Marathon Kids program presented certificates to some of our friends that have reached the 5 mile, 10 mile, and 13.1 mile mark!!! The kids played some fun games and compared their resting heart rate to an active rate after exercising.

We had a great day yesterday at the WTC/PAC Speech Meet. Here are the results, including the all-around placing and the WTC placing.
Oral Interp of Drama - 4th place overall and 2nd place for WTC- Mallory Hottell, Eddie Duran, Conrad Kaminski, Carly Norberg, and Wyatt Cook
Persuasive Speaking - Mallory Hottell placed 5th overall and 3rd in WTC, and Karsyn Chesley placed 6th overall and 4th in WTC.
Humourous - Conrad Kaminski placed 2nd overall and 2nd for WTC
Duet Acting - Skyla Steirwalt and Rachel Koski placed 5th overall and 4th for WTC
Poetry - Carly Norberg placed 6th overall and 5th for WTC, and Skyla Steirwalt placed 6th for WTC
Serious Prose - Skyla Steirwalt placed 6th for WTC

Last night the Winter Sports seniors (Cheer, Basketball and Wrestling) and their parents were honored at the HS Basketball games vs Pine Bluffs. Thank you to all the parents for their support of their students and Kimball Public schools throughout the years.


Yesterday our Jr High and High School show choirs competed at the NCDA Show Choir Competition. We had wonderful performances all around and our High School Show Choir, New Dimension, earned a gold rating! Great Job Kids!

Today at ELITE we had art club. The kids made some interesting pictures using paper squares.




Rachel Koski is going to be representing Kimball JAG at the Career Development Conference in Omaha next week! She competed in the first round in Employability Skills where she had to develop a resume and cover letter related to a specific career. A panel of judges looked at all the submitted resumes and cover letters across the state to consider who would move forward to the second round of the competition in Omaha. Rachel found out today that she made the top 15 in the state! She'll be participating in a mock job interview to showcase her skills and experience! Congratulations Rachel!


Last Thursday the 1st Graders celebrated their accomplishment of winning the 2nd Quarter "Longhorn Way" challenge. The students earned a pizza party for always showing over-the-top expectations! The PBiS team would like to thank Shavonne Singleton of Singleton Agency and Johnson Construction for their generous party sponsorship. Round 3 of the WTC Basketball Tournament continues today at WNCC in Cougar Palace in Scottsbluff. Both teams are in the Championship games. The High School girls vs Bridgeport at 5pm followed by the High School boys vs Bridgeport at 6:30pm. The last time both teams were in the WTC championship together was the 2012-2013 season. Day 2 of the B4 Girls District Wrestling is underway. After this morning's first round the Lady Longhorns still have 3 wrestlers in the fight. Barbara, Noley, and Rachel are still looking for a trip to Omaha. McKenzie Howard wrapped up her 2024-2025 season this morning. Proud of you McKenzie!!
