Story-time turned into taste-testing this week in Kindergarten! 🥢🥧 Characters in our story, Apple Pie 4th of July, were eating chow mein noodles and apple pie, so our Kinders sampled the food and took a vote! 👍🏼👎🏼

Congratulations Juniors on your Reading Plus Awards! Greg placed in the highest comprehension & fluency levels. Tradin & Kylie climbed to the top of the Week 4 Leaderboard (most words read). Cainin, Kaymen, Wyatt, & Kylie achieved new Reading Level Awards & Clarika (not pictured) achieved top number of lessons scoring above 80%! Keep up the excellent work!

Third grade has been practicing measuring and using data to understand and create graphs. 📏 📊 We wrapped up the unit with a friendly standing jump activity. All of them were great sports, although I think we may have a few competitive people in here. 😉

Congratulations to the top fourth, fifth, and sixth grade spellers who will be competing at the district spelling bee on February 12. They are Gracie Barp, Sapphira Baber, Ray Bright, Gunner Laughlin, BlairTornberg, Alaska Entingh, Jaxon Klussman, Klover Bennett, Theo Perry, Trey Griebel, Adie Weinbender, Virgil Robles, Riyah Jonsrud, Shay Hottell, Barry Baber, and Henry Barp.

Kimball Speech team was in Chadron today for a meet. We had a solid day with ups and downs. In the end Skyla Stierwalt placed 2nd overall in Poetry and Mallory Hottell was 1st overall in Persuasive and 5th overall in Extemporaneous Speaking!! Good day over all!!

Today was about grit, growth, and heart. These girls gave everything they had, and even though no one qualified for state this year, we couldn’t be prouder of the athletes and people they’re becoming. Proud to be their coaches.

Kimball Girls Wrestling – Day 2 💪🤼‍♀️ Tough second round last night, but the girls are ready to bounce back today. Barbara, Jade, Becca, and Noley will hit the mat first thing this morning, with Emmaline and McKenzie wrestling later on. Good luck today, ladies—wrestle hard and leave it all out there! 🔥❤️

Today at Friday ELITE we enjoyed lots of outside time in the sun! 🌞 We also made yummy homemade heart shaped poptarts! ❤️😋
