Life cycles have come to life over the past several weeks here in Kindergarten! 😊 We have been very busy taking care of our tiny insect friends as we followed their journey from eggs 🥚(collected in a local field), to caterpillars 🐛, to chrysalis, and finally into beautiful Monarch butterflies!🦋 We have learned so many new and amazing things (just ask a student) and how we can all play a part in their conservation!❤️ We were all very excited as we set them off on their next adventures!☀️

We started our Marathon Kids Program today at ELITE! Ashley Fenning came to talk about setting goals, and then they did some stretching and ran laps around the playground. We will track our "miles" running throughout the school year and hopefully complete a marathon!

SCHEDULE CHANGE: Due to multiple KPS activities taking place on October 16, 2025, Parent Teacher Conferences will now take place on October 15, 2025. Mary Lynch conferences will run from 3:45 - 8:30 PM and the Jr/ Sr High School will run from 4:00 - 8:30 PM. Kimball friends and families—come join us for some cheer fun! Our Mini Cheer Camp is set for Friday, October 3rd at 3:30 PM. Your littles will learn cheers, motions, and spirit essentials from our Longhorns cheerleaders, all in a fun, encouraging environment!
Quick details • Date/Time: Friday, Oct 3 • Start: 3:30 PM • Who: Future Longhorns (Pre-K - 6th Grade) • What to bring/wear: Comfy clothes (black pants), clean sneakers, hair up, no jewelry, and a water bottle • Check-in: Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled at the High School Student Center • Pickup: Right after our Halftime Performance during the HS Football ball (around 8:00 pm)

Kindergarten brought their story, Where is Home, Little Pip? to life today! 🐧✨ We explored the word “fluttered” with feathers— watching them float, drift, and dance through the air! Such a fun way to connect new vocabulary to hands-on learning with lots of giggles! 😊💛
