The Kimball High School Girls Wrestling team hit the mats in Gering today. Battling hard, showing heart, and representing Kimball with pride. Great job, Lady Longhorns.

✨ Mini Cheer Camp = a HUGE success! ✨ We had 36 amazing mini cheerleaders participate, and they absolutely crushed it! From learning cheers and motions to bringing BIG spirit, these kiddos showed up with smiles, energy, and confidence all game day long. They did an incredible job on the court during the basketball game, bringing energy, excitement, and school spirit every step of the way. We could not be more proud of how they represented our cheer program! Thank you to all of the families for supporting your little cheerleaders and to everyone who came out to cheer them on. We love seeing the next generation of cheer shine! 💖📣🏀

Due to intermittent power outages, Mary Lynch will not be serving lunch today (1-16-26) from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM. In addition, the ELITE program will be dismissing early today (1-16-26).

The Kimball Jr. High boys basketball team tipped off the season with a win at Bayard. The final score was 38-9. Way to start the season with a dub! We will be in action again Tuesday at Burns.

The 2026 schoolwide spelling bee will take place on February 12 at 4pm at the auditorium. This competition is open for 4-8 grade spellers. The Mary Lynch students will have their grade-level competitions held at the discretion of their teachers, and the top five from each grade will advance to the schoolwide bee. At the high school, 7-8 graders will have an opportunity to sign up in Mrs. Shoemaker's room for the schoolwide bee. This is our county spelling bee, so the winner of this bee will advance to regionals held in March.
