Our Longhorn speech team was in action in Gering today. It was fun seeing them perform. I'm pretty new to the speech world but I think they did great!

ELITE Afterschool Program kids learned to hand sew today! It was definitely a challenge! They used felt, plastic needles and yarn to make "pocket pets." We were very proud of the kids for working hard to finish this project!

Over the past two days, our 6th grade students dove into vital discussions on bullying! We started with an assembly on digital citizenship by Karen Haase from KSB Law. And then moved into activities like the Lego Challenge to the Stand Up To Bullying Game Show, our students embraced activities fostering teamwork, empathy, and resilience. Kudos to our dedicated teachers and incredible students for creating a positive and inclusive environment! 💙👏 We'd like to thank the Brown family for helping with Legos and Lego assembly, Kimball Family Dentistry for supplying toothpaste, and KSB law for the informative assembly!
