Kimball High School Cheer had an amazing day at the Lexington High School Cheer competition!
After a full evening of cheering on Longhorn basketball, our cheerleaders made the trek out to Lexington through the night and showed up this morning ready to win! The team placed 1st in the C/D Non-Tumbling Division and 2nd in C/D Game Day Division! These athletes put in the hard work, and it paid off in a big way.
Now, it’s time to set our sights on STATE! 🔥 Let’s keep the momentum going as we get ready to be Grand Island-bound on February 21st! Go Big Red!

5th graders were working hard and needed a bit of a break. We took a little brain break and had some fun with Tooty Ta!

Some of our fourth graders are working on a novel study. We took some time out to create a yarn doll similar to one that was mentioned in our book. We had to work together and follow directions without seeing the picture until the end. It was quite an experience!

We love our show and tell time in Pre-k!

Exercising at ELITE today! 💪😁

This was a first for us! The 7th grade English classes partnered up with Kimball Public Library to have a community reading focusing on Kate DiCamillo's novel 'Because of Winn Dixie'. In a month the class read the book, studied the characters and plot closely, and tried a paper maché project. Personally, I am so proud of this class's efforts and for all who were able to come out tonight to share the love of reading and community. This is only the beginning to a wonderful experience and partnership. THANK YOU 7th grade, community members, and Kimball Community Library!

It is school board recognition week in Nebraska! As such, we would like to say thank you to our Kimball School Board members: Travis Cook, Jennifer Griebel, Tom O'Brien, Britni Toth, Taylor Brown, and Landon Smith! We appreciate all your efforts to make our district a great place for students and staff! #LonghornPride
