school bus

Dear Kimball Public School District Households,

Effective January 4, 2022 (the first day of school for the second semester), Kimball Public Schools will be operating bus routes as follows:

1) Kimball Public Schools will no longer operate an in-town bus (Bus C) that picks up and drops off students at multiple locations within city limits. The last day of operation for the in-town bus route (Bus C) will be December 17, 2021.

2) Kimball Public Schools will continue to transport students on buses between Mary Lynch Elementary and the Junior/ Senior High School. Also, Kimball Public Schools will continue transportation for students attending day care facilities in our district.

3) Kimball Public Schools will continue to operate regular bus routes outside of city limits. If there is any change in your route’s pick up or drop off time for the second semester (January 4, 2022), your bus driver will be in contact with you.

The Kimball County Transit Service is available to pick up and drop off students in our school district if your household is impacted by the termination of the in-town bus route (Bus C). A Kimball County Transit Service form can be found here: KCTS Form if you are interested in utilizing their transportation services for your household. For questions on the Kimball County Transit Services, please call: (308)235-0262 or email: administrator@ridekcts.com.
